Ready when it appears.

Start your next yap while finished recordings are prepared, with stable automatic titles and search that jumps to the matching moment.

A finished yap should be ready to use when it appears in your library. Video preparation, transcription, and titling now happen in a queue before the yap becomes available, so its title does not change after you start using it.

Once the recording is safely saved, you can start the next one. Processing yields to recording and playback and resumes while the app is open and visible.

Titles use lightweight phrase extraction from the saved transcript. Search also makes that transcript useful inside a recording: choose a matching excerpt to jump to that moment in the full yap.

In this release

  • Recording

Start another yap as soon as the finished recording is safely saved, without waiting for video preparation or transcription.

  • Library

Finished yaps appear only after their video, transcript, and title are prepared. The drawer shows processing counts and offers retry when preparation fails.

  • Titles

Untitled yaps receive a title extracted from their transcript before appearing in the library. Automatic titles stay stable, and manual names are preserved. No additional title model download is required.

  • Search

Open a matching speech excerpt at the relevant moment in the full yap, including matches in later clips.

  • Recovery

Saved queue entries and completed preparation stages survive reloads. Work resumes while the app is open and visible; existing finished recordings remain available.
