Keep the whole picture.
A consistent recording format across your yap, with the full camera image preserved when you rotate your phone.
Turning the phone during a recording could change the video dimensions and produce awkward playback. A yap now keeps the recording dimensions chosen by its first video clip, including when you add more clips later.
When orientations differ, padding keeps the whole camera image visible without stretching or a forced zoom. The live preview stays connected to the camera across recording starts and stops, and the capture layout uses fixed screen edges to reduce layout changes. The phone can still rotate the interface.
In this release
- Recording
Keep video dimensions consistent during recording and across later clips in the same yap. New yaps choose their own format.
- Framing
Preserve the complete camera image with padding when orientations differ, without cropping or stretching it.
- Preview
Keep one camera preview attached before, during, and between clips, with the full image visible and a fixed-edge capture layout.
- Existing yaps
Existing recordings remain unchanged. Older yaps without a saved recording format choose one when you next add a video clip.
