• Fixed

  Retrying captions returns to the same yap's details and starts caption preparation directly. Play shows progress until preparation finishes, and closing the drawer cannot resume playback and block the retry.

• Refined

  Enabling captions that need preparation follows the same flow. Already prepared captions turn back on without interrupting playback.

• Diagnostics

  Caption errors distinguish model loading, audio decoding, transcription, engine failures, timeouts, and storage failures instead of always suggesting a connection problem.
